WHY DIGITAL EVANGELISM PROJECT?

Despite living in a digital age, the internet is a mission field full of hidden potential

DEP offers digital skills training for the underserved, vulnerable Adventist population in developing countries

There are Seventh-day Adventists who struggle to have basic needs met.

Countless Adventists in developing countries are living under harsh conditions, making them go for days without having basic needs met.

This means little-to-no food, clean water, sanitation, and health care

For most of them, a steady income could solve their problems.

With the rapid advancement of technology and the digitalization of the global market, these Adventists should not have to struggle to find work. And that is why DEP was created—to help them qualify for online work and ministry by providing online training.

Digital evangelism and marketing training changes lives

How does DEP make a difference?

Empower the vulnerable

A key part in helping vulnerable people is to give them the opportunity to grow. We enable struggling Adventists to build a better future for themselves.

Meet the demand for online evangelism

Since people are searching the internet for the truth about God, Adventists need to be online sharing the Gospel. We equip them to answer the call.

End the poverty cycle

Ending poverty for many Adventists in the developing world is contingent on whether they have the skills to get a job. We train them in those skills.

Propel the Gospel

After these Adventist in developing countries receive training, they can work online as missionaries and help take the Gospel around the world. We help make that possible.

Training that changes the life of one Adventist, who then changes the live of many

Everyone should have the opportunity to live a life of purpose—especially one that can support their family. Yet, Adventists in the developing world struggle to have access to a strong financial future and the opportunity to contribute to the mission of the church by sharing the Gospel.

Selecting a group of students:

Because this is a specialized training, we select at-risk Adventists in the developing world from a wide range of applicants. This process is selective because we want to ensure that opportunities are given to those who otherwise would have little chance of success.
